In the Cegeka advanced supply chain suite, certain functionalities have been added to streamline the logistic processes in the warehouse when working with package ID’s or SSCC labels.

In this extension, we added these functionalities in one of the most used mobile scanning applications for warehouse processes available for Busines Central This way, these processes can also be seamlessly used on the mobile scanners.

• Picking with package ID’s: by scanning the package ID, the matching pick lines are registered according with the different items, quantities and lot numbers stored on the package. Registering multiple items & lot numbers can now be done a lot faster.
• Moving goods from one package to another package: in order to facilitate partial picking from a package & splitting up existing packages.
• Moving the content of a whole package from one bin to another in one action.
• The planned inventory counting process works also with package ID’s
